Smores at Home

Welcome back!

We love camping, but here in the Northwest, we have only about 2 1/2 months of good camping weather.  And who doesn’t love smores?  Sometimes a girl needs toasty marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers beyond the campground.  You’ll be surprised how easy it is!  So when you need Smores during the winter months, here’s how you do it.

Smores

Smores at Home

Miniature marshmallows

Chocolate bars

Graham crackers

Preheat broiler.  Break graham cracker in half, place one half on cookie sheet and top with miniature marshmallows.  Broil for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.  (Don’t walk away!)  When toasted, remove from the oven and top with piece of chocolate bar and other half.  Eat!  (… and try not to giggle like a girl scout.  *wink*)

sometimes i cheat and nuke the marshmallow on the graham cracker then add the chocolate…. fun to watch it get all puffed out…nearing explosive levels ;)
