Last night was a little crazy... from dealing with a tummy ache to a hamster on his way to hamster heaven. However, in true mom fashion, I had cupcakes to bake and deliver to school today, and of course I couldn't just do a boxed cake. Hey, there will be leftovers, right? So, let's do it right. Winning the cake walk should be tasty. ;)
I picked up a box of lemons, and was needing some lemon cake of some kind. Unfortunately, I didn't have poppy seeds laying around (what?!), so that was out. So, here's some things I found, and the recipes I actually used. And yes, they are delicious, and I did lick the bowl. Twice.
