Ok, so bacon rules, seriously.  I would be a vegetarian, but then there's bacon... and rib eye steak.  I thought I would have a little fun today by sharing two kinda fun things.  But first, a fun fact: Every summer my family and I go camping with a group of friends.  There is usually 8-10 of us, and over the course of 2-3 days we go through at least 4 pounds of bacon (mostly thick cut). Now, please don't think that I'm bathing in bacon grease and have it every morning.  However, I do love a good uncured thick cut bacon. And now for some fun bacon-y things: Bacon Today:  An entire website all about bacon.  Yeah, it's crazy + entertaining. I Heart Bacon:  A Seattle based blog about bacon and some other hilarious posts! Bacon Freak Blog: Need I say more? Bacon Cups Recipe from Not Martha: So cool, and I just may make these for my next dinner party! Alltop - Top Bacon News: Alltop gathers up the best bacon bits from around the web. Lastly, this video is about Bacon Salt.  I also think it's interesting how they are working with troops overseas who cannot have bacon where they are.... Oh my gosh, I just LOVE bacon, too. My favorite way to prepare it is dip the slices in flour that has a little pepper added to it, put it on my Pampered Chef stone jellyroll pan and bake until crispy...I could eat a whole pound myself when it is done this way...there is very little shrinkage and the slices are pretty flat....YUMMY!
