    Marionberry Martini

It was one of those days weeks. Today, on the way home, I stopped and picked up some groceries. I wandered down the baking aisle, and came across a marionberry syrup, which I hadn't purchased in ages. It was local, and it is divine. After a failed attempt at waffles (don't ask, my pride is still wounded...), a marionberry martini sounded REALLY tasty.

I found a recipe, and it fit the bill. One thing I would do is make it a tad bit sweeter, and add a touch more marionberry. Mmmm... it was tasty! So, just in case it looks good to you, here's the recipe:

Marionberry Martini  (from "1859" Oregon Magazine)

I love 1859 magazine. And that martini looks gorgeous. Where did you find the marionberry syrup?

Thanks! I found it at QFC, and it's a local product. Bonus!
